Ladies Who Lunch

Last Friday, in the midst of Tropical Storm Andrea (or lack there of), a fabulous group of Charleston female creatives gathered at the Novel Showroom to dish out the latest and greatest!

The idea for “Ladies Who Lunch,” originated when a close friend, Lindsey Carter of Troubadour Clothing, held a Garden Luncheon to launch the debut of her Spring 2013 Collection. It is a rare occasion that so many talented and beautiful women have the opportunity to come together, and we thought we would carry on the tradition!

The event truly was a reflection of Novel from the inviting decor, designed by Fox Events to a mix of antique silver passed down through the Cleveland and Pope families. As always, the showroom was beaming with flowing apparel, orignial artwork, bold jewelry, and delicate stationery from all of the Novel Gals. In a charming twist of events we played a Novel version of musical chairs by placing a Novel gift bag on each chair with a name tag inside, each guest pulled out a name tag and swapped seats! We wanted to be sure everyone would have an opportunity to chat!
