Troubadour Spring 2013 Garden Luncheon

We couldn’t think of a better first blog post for Novel than one singing the praises of our good friend, Lindsey Carter, the designer of Troubadour clothing. It isn’t everyday that we all get to spend the afternoon with 16 creative and stylish ladies, sipping champagne in Lindsey’s backyard celebrating another successful spring collection for Troubadour clothing.

We knew the afternoon would be beautiful, and how could it not with stunning Troubadour looks matched by the magic of Leapfrog PR. Each guest was dressed in her Troubadour best, styled uniquely their own way.  It takes a talented designer for 16 personalities to look and feel confident and comfortable in the same collection.

Each table was as perfectly outfitted as the guests, styled in Troubadour linens and prints from the spring 2013 collection.

Lindsey’s inspiration for the collection is one that hits home for us, native Charlestonians. That fresh scent of the ocean, sand in between your toes, thank The Lord we live in a beach town feeling.  In true Troubadour style each piece has a dash of femininity complimented by an unexpected edge. Sensibility and practicality punctuated by high-low hem lines and peplums.

We are long time fans of Troubadour, and her new collection is setting the bar even higher. Aside from the overall top quality and ease of movement you find in each piece, the entire collection is absolutely stunning! Shades of summer you cannot live without!
Thank you to Troubadour and Leapfrog for creating an unforgettable afternoon!
